About Me
- Sandra Dumais
- My full name is Sandra Aileen Dumais. I was born on January 24th, 1977 at 10:10am in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. At that time my brother was 3 and we lived in a neighbourhood on a hill in Pictou, across the river on one side and overlooking the Atlantic on the other. Since then, I have lived on both coasts of Canada, and many cities in between, spending the largest chunk of my time in Montreal; 5 great years I had learning French, writing and performing comedy shows and studying Graphic Design. I am now back in Toronto where I live in a cozy 3rd floor apartment with my husband and dog, among stacks of paper and paint, and the sloping ceilings of our attic abode. We grew our own food this year in our backyard, our first garden which yielded the best beets I've ever eaten, and a thousand delicious salads. I am happiest at home, among my piles of paper and felt tips, black lab at feet, and Sylvain working beside me on his own wonderful things.
